Jun Fujiwara
Born in Shigaraki Town, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture in 1979.
1998: Graduated from the large-scale potter's wheel course at the Shigaraki Ceramic Technology Testing Center.
In 2013, he was certified as a Shigaraki ware traditional craftsman.
He currently produces pottery at Kosendo, a pottery studio that has been handed down since his great-grandfather's generation.
Once you see it, you will never forget it. The unique form and deep, mysterious blue color give off a unique worldview.
Jun Fujiwara's works have captured the hearts of his fans, and this will be his first exhibition in Kyoto.
