Artist Yutaro Yamada Mokake Backhand Teapot (160ml)
Tax included.
Yamada Yuutaro's "Mokake Gote Kyusu" is a teapot made using the traditional Tokoname technique of "Mokake," which is created by wrapping dried seaweed around it and firing it, resulting in an attractive and unique pattern.
Mokake is a technique unique to Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, in which seaweed is wrapped around the base material and then fired to create a pattern. The back handle design is both easy to pour and beautiful.
The fine holes in the strainer are neatly arranged, allowing the hot water to flow through easily and bringing out the full flavor of the tea leaves. Taking advantage of Tokoname ware, this teapot has been refined to combine beauty and practicality, and will add color to your everyday tea time.
There is no doubt that Yamada Yuutaro's teapots will add a special touch to your everyday life.
