A story of pottery built together with friends
Mr. Maruya Nukaga and Mr. Hironobu Ishikawa met while pursuing their careers in ceramics, and have been creating fascinating works together ever since. The two first met while attending a ceramics training school in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, and after graduating from the school, they each went their separate ways, but they were reunited when they both settled in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture. Working in close proximity, the two artists exchanged ideas about their works and sometimes visited each other's studios, and the overlapping stories of the artists have led to the creation of fascinating works.
