Profile of Akiko Koyama
Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, Department of Crafts, Ceramics Course. Completed the Graduate School of Joshibi University of Art and Design, Department of Ceramic Modeling Course. Received the Okubo Fukuko Award. Studied under ceramist Mariko Ijuin. She makes pottery with her husband Daisuke Ikeda , and in the past they held a couple's exhibition at Nokaze - House of Pottery and Stories.
2012-2016: Full-time assistant at Joshibi University of Art and Design, Department of Design and Crafts
Since 2016, he has set up a studio in the suburbs of Tokyo and exhibits his works mainly in solo and group exhibitions.
