Graduated from Onomichi City University, Department of Fine Arts in 2010
Graduated from Tajimi City Ceramic Design Institute in 2012
Currently working in Tajimi, Gifu Prefecture
Characteristics of Kasumi Fujimura's works
Kasumi Fujimura, a ceramic artist based in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture Mr. It can be used in daily life and is always nearby. It is produced with the desire to create "tableware."
Kasumi Fujimura's work is pure white. "Utsuwa" and bronze The contrasting beauty of the "vessels" is striking. The "utensils" are made with the idea of "suitable for any dish" and feature a simple and elegant design that brings out the flavor of the food. On the other hand, the bronze plates were created in response to a request from a local izakaya, and have an appealing, tasteful color that makes them suitable for everyday use.
