Artist Hideki Chono Japanese paper tea tray S (brown)

Hideki Chono's "Small Washi Tea Tray (Brown)" is an octagonal wooden tray made of wood with washi paper pasted on it and then lacquered. Every single step of the process is done by hand by Chono.

The washi paper used on the tableware allows you to enjoy the texture of washi paper, but it can also be washed with water, so it can be used for a variety of purposes other than just serving snacks. You can use it to place plates, directly on the table, or as a place to place small items, and the possibilities are endless.

Why not spice up your tea time by changing your tray a little?

It is water and oil resistant, so you can serve food directly on it. After use, please gently wash it with detergent if it is oily.
