Lake Biwa is one of the world's most ancient lakes, with a history of over 4 million years. Kaminaga has captured the life energy generated by the mud that accumulates at the bottom of the lake, the water teeming with life, and the swaying of the aquatic plants in glass.

The ash used in this vessel is made from burned aquatic plants from Lake Biwa. By dissolving the ash from the aquatic plants, a unique color is created that is both soft and deep, evoking the feeling of sunlight shining on the surface of the lake and the presence of life floating at the bottom.

The small size plate is versatile enough to be used as a condiment dish, small sweets, pickles, or accessory tray. It creates a special atmosphere in a small space.
