Fujiwara Jun's "8-Pointed Beans" is an octagonal plate with a sharp yet delicate "pointed" ridge running through it, making for a striking presence. Within its well-balanced form, the architectural tension that is characteristic of Fujiwara Jun coexists with an organic softness.

The surface is decorated with three-dimensional decorations using the ichichin (squeezing technique), giving it a warm feeling as if traces of the hand's movements remain.
