Tatsuya Kamino is a woodworker who continues to create pottery in the naturally rich Tsukahara Plateau in Yufuin Town, Oita Prefecture. After working as a product designer for major home appliance manufacturers such as Sharp and Panasonic, he returned to his hometown of Oita and now creates wooden works.

Kamino's works are characterized by the coexistence of sharp, sophisticated forms and the warmth that can only be found in handcrafted items. Utilizing his experience in product design, he values ​​the natural texture and feel of wood, and pursues functional beauty as tools for everyday use. In particular, his kitchen tools are designed with the user in mind, achieving both aesthetic beauty and ease of use.
