Shigaraki ware with a delicate "rope pattern" shinogi carving on the rim

Masanori Yamamoto's "Nawame Rim Flat Plate Large White" is a beautiful piece that combines the tradition of Shigaraki ware with Masanori Yamamoto's unique modern design.

The delicate "nawame" (rope pattern) shinogi carving on the rim creates a warm, knitted cable-like texture by carving vertical lines and then finely carving diagonal lines into the remaining parts.

Not flat, but shaped like a shallow bowl, it naturally becomes stylish when used as a salad, curry, or pasta dish. The rim is adorned with a pattern, which not only gives a glamorous impression to the dining table but also highlights the food, making it look more appealing.

Since each piece is handmade, there are individual differences in color and carving, and as it is used, it develops a deeper and richer luster, allowing you to enjoy a unique texture.

Meals served on Masanori Yamamoto's stylish tableware are sure to make your daily life more precious.

*As each item is handmade, there may be slight individual differences.
*The black spots on the work are iron particles remaining in the clay that have been fired and oxidized, and are naturally occurring. This is also part of its individuality, so please compare the expressions of each piece and feel the differences.
