Shigaraki ware with a delicate "rope" pattern on the rim
Masanori Yamamoto's "Nawame Shinogi Flat Plate 8-inch Black" is a beautiful piece that combines the tradition of Shigaraki ware with Masanori Yamamoto's unique contemporary design.
The delicate "rope" pattern carved into the rim creates a warm, knitted rope-like texture by carving vertical lines and then finely carving diagonal lines into the remaining parts.
Its flat design naturally makes it stylish, whether used as a salad plate, curry plate, or pasta plate. The patterned rim not only gives a festive impression to the dining table but also draws attention to the food, making it appear more appealing.
