Furuya Pottery, Ring Flower Deep Plate, Small, Kohiki
Tax included.
Furuya Seitosho's "Rinka Deep Plate, Small, Kohiki" is a Shigaraki ware produced by Furuya Seitosho in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, and is a deep plate characterized by a rim that resembles a petal. White mud is applied to the red clay, and the black spots called "iron spots" that appear during firing create a rustic and warm texture.
The gentle white color of Kohiki harmonizes with any dish and brings out its color. Also, there are individual differences that come with being handmade, such as black spots called tetsusan and orange spots called gohonde, so you can enjoy the different expressions of each dish.
The size is perfect for serving pickles and small side dishes as a small plate for soy sauce or sauce. The petal-like ring flower design subtly accentuates the food and adds a touch of elegance to your table.
It's also cute when paired with other colors, so please take a look at the other colors as well.
