Furutani Seito's "Rinka Deep Plate, Bean, Kohiki" is a Shigaraki ware deep plate with a petal-shaped design that adds color to your dining table. Red clay is applied with white slip, and the black specks called "tetsusan" (iron specks) that appear during firing create a rustic and warm texture.
The gentle white color of the kohiki glaze harmonizes with any dish, enhancing its colors. Furthermore, there are individual differences unique to handmade items, and you can enjoy the different expressions of each piece, with black specks called tetsusan and orange spots called gohonte sometimes appearing.
