Masanori Yamamoto's "Shinogi Narrow Rim Plate Small Black" is a beautiful piece that blends the tradition of Shigaraki ware with his unique, modern design.
The numerous delicately carved "shinogi" patterns are meticulously etched one by one by hand, adding color to the entire piece. The patterns on the rim not only give a gorgeous impression to the dining table but also draw attention to the food, making the dishes stand out beautifully.
A distinctive feature is that the shinogi is thin and arranged in two rows, allowing more food to be served than on a standard rimmed plate.
Due to being handmade, there are individual differences in color and carving. As it is used, it gains depth and luster, allowing you to enjoy a unique texture that is one-of-a-kind.
Meals served on Masanori Yamamoto's stylish ware are sure to make everyday life more cherished.
※As each item is handmade, there may be slight individual differences.
※The black spots on the pieces are naturally occurring iron impurities in the clay that oxidize when fired. These are part of its unique character, so please compare the expressions of each piece and enjoy their differences.
