Shigaraki ware with delicate "rope-like" pattern carved into the rim

Masanori Yamamoto's "Large Green Rope-Rimmed Flat Plate" is a beautiful piece that combines the tradition of Shigaraki ware with Masanori Yamamoto's unique contemporary design.

The delicate "rope-like" pattern on the rim is carved into vertical lines and then finely carved diagonally on the remaining part, creating a warm look reminiscent of knitted rope.

It is not flat, but rather shaped like a shallow bowl, so it naturally looks stylish whether used as a salad, curry or pasta plate. The patterned rim not only adds a touch of elegance to the table, but also draws the focus to the food, making it look even more beautiful.

Because they are handmade, there are individual differences in color and carving, and the more you use them, the deeper and more lustrous they become, allowing you to enjoy a unique texture.

Masanori Yamamoto's stylish Eating using tableware is sure to make your daily life more enjoyable.

*Since each item is handmade, there may be slight differences between each one. Therefore, depending on the piece, black may have a green or blue tinge.
*The black spots on the pieces are natural, resulting from the oxidation of iron remaining in the soil. These are also individual features, so please compare each piece and feel the difference.
