Yamada Yuutaro's "Mokake Yuhi" is a yuhi made using traditional Tokoname ware techniques, and is characterized by the unique patterns created by wrapping seaweed around it and firing it.
Boiling water is poured into the pot and then the temperature is lowered. The pot is surprisingly thin and light, and its intricate construction stands out. It is made very light so that it does not become heavy even when filled with hot water.
With carefully selected soil and delicate techniques, your daily tea time will become even more special. There is no doubt that a gaiwan will add a special touch to your everyday life.
