The "Hamon Hammered Lid Hou Vase" by Yutaro Yamada is a beautiful deep black Hou Vase. When light hits it, it has a lustrous sheen.

This is a type of teapot without a handle. Teas such as gyokuro are made using water at about 80°C, but because the water is too hot to hold directly in the hand, the teapot does not have a handle.

The fine holes in the strainer are neatly arranged, allowing the hot water to flow through easily and bringing out the full flavor of the tea leaves. Taking advantage of Tokoname ware, this teapot has been refined to combine beauty and practicality, and will add color to your everyday tea time.
