At the age of 35, he began to learn pottery on his own, and from there After over 20 years of challenging himself, he has found his own unique style and has created beautiful vessels with the "Mikan Ash Glaze" technique, which uses the ashes of mandarin oranges, which symbolize him.

He is a rare producer nationwide who completes everything himself, from growing the mandarin oranges, making the mandarin orange ash and glaze, to making the pottery. The mandarin orange ash gives off a unique blue that is as warm as the fruit and as clear as the sea of ​​Odawara. Touching the earth, facing the fire, and creating a work of art.
