Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, Department of Crafts, Ceramics Course. Completed the Graduate School of Joshibi University of Art and Design, Department of Ceramic Design. Received the Okubo Fukuko Award. Studied under ceramic artist Mariko Ijuin. She creates pottery with her husband Daisuke Ikeda , and in the past they held a couple's exhibition at nokaze - House of Pottery and Stories.
