Furuya Ceramics' "Handled Cut-out Soup Cup with Rough Horizontal Carving on the Rim" is a soup cup from Furuya Ceramics' popular "Vertical Iron Wire" series.

This small bowl features a roughly carved comb pattern on the rim. The rough carvings on the rim accent the white base of the powdered pot, and it goes well with a variety of dishes, both Japanese and Western.

The horizontally carved comb pattern design is also common to other tableware in the "Fuchiara Yokobori" series, so by collecting the whole series you can create a unified dining table look.
