Furuya Pottery, Ring Flower Deep Dish, Small, Iron Scattering
Tax included.
Furuya Seitosho's "Rinka Deep Plate Small Iron Scattering" is a Shigaraki ware made by Furuya Seitosho in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, and is a deep plate with a distinctive rim that resembles a petal. The red clay is covered with white mud, and the black spots called "iron scattering" that appear during firing create a rustic and warm texture.
The small size makes it perfect as a side plate. It is also perfect for combining with other dishes.
The gentle white color of Kohiki harmonizes with any dish and brings out its color. Also, there are individual differences that come with being handmade, such as black spots called tetsusan and orange spots called gohonde, so you can enjoy the different expressions of each dish.
By placing food in the center and leaving some space, the petals can create a gorgeous presentation that highlights the food. Also, because the edges are slightly raised, you can safely serve food with a little juice on it.
There is no doubt that Furuya Seitosho's stylish plates will brighten up your everyday dining table.
