Tomokazu Kawasumi's "Dora Bowl/Engraving" is a stylish and luxurious plate with an attractive metallic glaze. It is made by kneading Kasama clay and coarse-grained clay together, and the glaze melts just enough due to the influence of the clay. The yuzuhada (unevenness like the skin of a yuzu citrus fruit) scattered here and there tells us that each piece is made by hand, which is very appealing.

The design is modeled after a gong (a percussion instrument that produces sound by striking a disc made of bronze, brass, iron, or other metal with a mallet) with engraved patterns on the front and sides evoking civilization.

It features an original glaze that can look like copper or gold depending on the angle. It is perfect for serving a la carte dishes, hors d'oeuvres, sushi, and other dishes when you have a group.

There is no doubt that Kawasumi Tomokazu's stylish plates will brighten up your everyday dining table.
